Job Title: Assistant Manager

Reporting To: Finance & Regulatory

Book keeping

  • Month end entries like depreciation, accruals and prepayments entries.
  • IFRS9 working – Monthly.
  • Making regular payments to the vendors/ service providers.
  • GL movement, scrutiny, analysis, review on monthly basis.

Financial management

  • Assist in preparation of annual accounts of the Bank, viz balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement as per IFRS and Indian GAAP.
  • Overall oversight of all financial transactions and accountancy matters.
  • Financial planning and related ongoing discussions with senior management.

Management accounts

  • Produce and review of monthly management accounts along with balance sheet analysis, income analysis, variance analysis, comparative analysis, ratio analysis, KPI, commentary.


  • Filing of quarterly VAT return to HMRC.
  • Timely payment of Corporation tax and VAT.

Educational qualification: - Accounting and Finance degree is preferrable.

Description of Duties

  • Checking the mails in regards to union premier bond and responding all types of requests & queries before EOD.

  • Coordinate with the Vendor related to any issues in the UPB website or in the UPB portal.
  • Reconciliation of NatWest agency and Nostro related to UPB on daily basis.
  • Posting of transactions in Finacle for UPB amount transfer
  • Processing of applications in backend portal.
  • Daily upload and safekeeping of all the documents received from customers for UPB applications.
  • Coordination with the UPB support Vendor for resolving queries.
  • UAT testing for new implementation requests or any new validations regarding the same.

Title: Credit Analyst / Senior Credit Analyst

Essential Duties and responsibilities

Requirement is for Credit Analyst / Senior Credit Analyst well versed in Corporate Finance / Syndicated loans

  • Processing and recommendation of credit proposals including syndicated loans, corporate loans, SME and other business loans to the appropriate authority.
  • Support all phases of the transaction cycle starting from deal origination, financial analysis, deal structuring, execution, due diligence, and post completion review/ renewals and follow up.
  • Undertake financial analysis to identify all material financial risks and opportunities across a range of lending requests from customers and ensure quality credit underwriting within the Banks risk appetite taking account of counterparty and sector trends.
  • Timely processing and recommendation of review/renewal proposals/miscellaneous request/new business and placing before respective authority through proper channel/
  • Carrying out internal risk ratings of the borrowers.
  • Periodic inspection of borrowers business and projects to ensure adherence to covenants as per sanctioned proposal.
  • Participate in transaction meetings with Head Corporate Lending and where appropriate attend client due diligent meetings.
  • Proper maintenance and storage of loan documentation and also to ensure the document remains live and valid.
  • Covenant compliance – pre as well as post disbursement.
  • Following up with customers for necessary papers required for review and renewal of loan accounts and placing before respective committees for approval before due date.
  • Preparation and submission of required reports/information for internal and external requirements of the bank and also MIS, both independently and in coordination with the Risk Management Department/Other department.
  • Produce regular portfolio reports on exposures, LGDs, asset concentrations, security coverage, performance trends, etc working in conjunction with the Banks vision and business plan.

Chief Finance Officer (CFO) - Job Specifications

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) position is accountable for multiple financial and administrative areas within the Bank. Leading the overall management of finance and regulatory reporting department of the Bank, this includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve the Bank assets and report accurate financial results. Skills and Competencies required:

  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration.
  • Qualified Chartered Account (ACCA) or its equivalent especially ICAEW qualified Chartered Accountant or ICAS (equivalent Scottish qualification) will be preferred
  • 5-7 years of Management Experience in Finance role in a UK regulated Bank.
  • Should have working knowledge and experience of IFRS 9, other UK statutory accounting requirements for a PIE, PRA, FCA, BoE regulatory reporting
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
  • Experience of managing key stakeholder relationships, including external auditors
  • Proven strong leadership and people management skills with strong abilities to communicate complex issues at board level both orally and in writing
  • A reputation for integrity and a broad appreciation of financial and international matters are essential
